Tyre Rotation Guide

Maximize tyre life, traction & handling by following the right rotation pattern for your vehicle type.

Forward Cross

The most commonly used rotation pattern, designed primarily for front wheel drive vehicles — which most cars have.

Front-to-Rear & Rear-to-Front

Primarily used for performance vehicles equipped with directional tires of the same size.

Tip: Rotate your tires every 3,000 to 5,000 miles. This ensures better handling, consistent traction, and extended tread life.

Note: Rotation alone won’t fix uneven wear if your vehicle has mechanical issues or incorrect tire pressure.

Rearward Cross

Best suited for rear wheel and 4-wheel drive vehicles.

Side-To-Side

Used for vehicles with non-directional tires of different sizes (e.g., front and rear are different widths).

Note: Temporary-use spare tyres should not be included in the rotation.

Including the Spare Tyre

If your spare tyre matches the size of your other four tyres, it should be rotated in.

Follow the manufacturer's rotation sequence, or place the spare in the right rear position during rotation.

X-Cross

Another option for rear wheel and 4-wheel drive vehicles. It can also be used as an alternative to the Forward Cross method for front-wheel drive vehicles.
